I used it to replace the old dead NiMH battery for my power tool with the new 16750 lithium battery connected in 3S2P configuration to save money. The tool works well with the new energy source. The mini PWB is needed to protect the battery during the charge/discharge cycle, and it has been working nicely. it is amazing that such chip is available at such a modest price.
